Hello! Welcome to the website for The Human Voice Zine project.

I am a Canadian artist who is making zines to build community. Hopelessness is rampant in our current world. Propaganda, hate, capitalism and AI are purposely turning us against each other and trying to disconnect us from what it means to simply be a person. The system wants to make us feel useless and powerless so we're easier to control. I know I cannot single handedly stop a war, or destroy the political systems put in place to harm and kill people. However, I refuse to be silent and let them make me forget who I am. I am a human being and I matter. I will boycott what I am able to, I will exist unapologetically, and I will use my voice in this world to spread love.

The internet used to be a very different place. These days it's dominated by a few social media sites that are run by billionaires who do not care if we live or die and aren't even pretending to hide it. I am tired of having to pound on the doors of algorithms to get my art noticed on platforms run by people that see me as no more than a dollar sign.

I made this little website because it was FUN. I want people to find my zines and actually feel something. This will likely remain a small scale project because I'm not constantly spewing marketable content into an app's algorithm and GUESS WHAT! I DON'T CAREEEE!

I believe this project will find the people who value it, and I am happy with however many that is <3
